Terms of Use

1. Eligibility

You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may only use Pinu with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

2. Account Registration

You may use Pinu by registering an account through:

• An Apple ID;
• A Google account; or
• Your own email address.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to keep such information up to date.

3. The Service, Subscriptions, and Payment

Pinu is a language learning application. We provide both free and paid premium services (currently only applicable under iOS):

• For free services, you will be provided with our basic, free functions with limited daily usage allowance. The details of our free services are subject to changes with or without notice.
• For paid premium services (currently only applicable under iOS), you may choose various subscription plans (currently only weekly plan is available, other plans will be available soon).

You fully understand and agree that, the scope of our Services you have paid for is limited to those as described at the time of payment. Pinu and/or our Services may be updated or expanded from time to time. You need to make additional payment for such updated or expanded services, at the then effective price notified by Pinu.

You understand and agree that your payment for the aforesaid services includes payment to us via a third-party payment SDK (such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, Stripe, etc.) that we have access to, and you can complete payment through third-party app stores such as Apple App Store.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. To do so, please follow our in-app cancellation process, or contact our support team.

The Service provides educational content and features intended solely for language learning purposes. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice, to the extent permitted by law.

3.1 Auto-Renewable Subscription Disclosure (iOS)

The following terms apply to all auto-renewable subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store:

• Subscription length & price. Pinu membership is currently offered as a weekly auto-renewable subscription (additional plans, such as monthly or annual, may become available in the future). The exact price will be displayed in your local currency at the point of purchase, in accordance with App Store pricing.
• Auto-renewal. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the then-current period, at the same price as the original subscription unless we notify you of a price change in advance.
• Manage / cancel. You may manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal at any time by going to your Apple ID Account Settings on your device after purchase. Cancellation of the current active subscription period is not permitted; cancellation only takes effect from the next billing cycle.
• Free trial conversion. If a free trial or introductory offer is provided, any unused portion of the free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a paid subscription, where applicable by law.
• Refunds. All purchases are final and non-refundable, except as required by applicable law or Apple's refund policy. Refund requests for purchases made through the Apple App Store must be submitted directly to Apple via https://reportaproblem.apple.com.
• Apple Media Services Terms. Purchases made through the Apple App Store are also subject to the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, which are available at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, or abusive purpose;
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems or networks connected to the Service;
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code of the app, except as permitted by law.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Pinu, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, audio, and software, are owned by LEAF BOAT TECHNOLOGY LIMITED or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

6. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates third-party software development kits (SDKs) and services, such as:

• Firebase SDK (for app performance monitoring and analytics);
• Third-party sign-in services (e.g., Apple, Google);
• Social media SDKs (for content sharing features).

The data processes of these third-party services are subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party service providers.

7. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. Please review it carefully.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, LEAF BOAT TECHNOLOGY LIMITED disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LEAF BOAT TECHNOLOGY LIMITED shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms or if required by law.

You may stop using the Service at any time.

You may delete your account at any time through our in-app deletion function.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of China in which LEAF BOAT TECHNOLOGY LIMITED is incorporated, without regard to conflict of laws principles.

If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway, or Iceland, the governing law and competent forum shall additionally be the laws and courts of your usual place of residence, where required by applicable mandatory consumer-protection law. Nothing in these Terms is intended to deprive you of the protection of any mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where you reside.
