• Basic account identifiers provided by Apple or Google when you sign in using those services;
• Purchase and payment records (if you subscribe to our premium plan, currently only applicable under iOS);
• Any content you voluntarily submit within the App.

1.2 Automatically Collected Information

When you use the App, we may automatically collect certain information, including:

• Device information (such as device model, operating system, and app version);
• Log and usage data (such as app interactions, crash logs, and performance data);
• Approximate location information derived from your device's advertising identifier (IDFA), where permitted by law.

1.3 Permissions

The App may request access to the following device features:

• Microphone: to support language learning features involving speech or pronunciation practice;
• Camera: to enable optional learning or profile-related features;
• Photo Album: to allow you to upload images where relevant;
• Clipboard: to facilitate copy-and-paste functionality within the App;
• Advertising Identifier (IDFA): to obtain approximate location or for limited analytics purposes.

You may control or revoke these permissions at any time through your device settings. Denying certain permissions may limit some features of the App.

2. How We Use Information

We use the collected information to:

• Provide and operate the App;
• Maintain and improve app performance and functionality;
• Monitor usage trends and diagnose technical issues;

We do not sell your personal information and do not use it for advertising purposes.

We use third-party SDKs and service providers to support the App's functionality, including:

• Apple and Google sign-in services for account authentication;
• Online payment SDKs to allow purchase of value-added premium services (currently only applicable under iOS);
• Social media SDKs to allow content sharing.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

We provide in-app account deletion function. To delete your Pinu account, you may go to the "Profile" page, and then click "Account" - "Delete". Please note, if you delete your account, your account information will be deleted or anonymized, and cannot be recovered. Therefore, please use the account deletion function with caution. We are not responsible for losing data due to your own decision of deleting the account.

5. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

6. Children's Privacy

Pinu is intended for general language learning audiences. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child without appropriate consent, we will take steps to delete such information in accordance with applicable law.

• Restrict or object to certain processing activities;

Residents of the European Economic Area and United Kingdom

Pinu is considered the "data controller" of the "personal data" (as defined under the General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR) we handle under this Policy. In other words, Pinu is responsible for deciding how to collect, use, and disclose personal data, subject to applicable law. The laws of the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom require data controllers to tell you about the legal ground that they rely on for using, sharing, or disclosing your personal data. To the extent those laws apply, our legal grounds are as follows:
